The F*ing Truth About Sexuality After Abuse (Live Event)
Sunday, October 13th, 2024
12 PM - 2 PM
Online or in-person
TRIGGER WARNING: SA, R, Trauma
As a sexuality educator, pleasure and passion are two of my favorite subjects to explore. Unfortunately, after sexual trauma and abuse, learning to see your body as whole and deserving of pleasure can be one of the hardest pieces of recovery. Despite this, survivors still crave intimacy, connection and passion, even if it looks different than it used to. The purpose of this workshop is for survivors and allies to learn the cultural implications that impact recovery, the basics of uncoupling the trauma from safe and healthy sex, and strategies for self- and co-regulation. Given the sensitivity of this subject, the safety and regulation of all in attendance will be of the highest importance. All participants may attend virtually or in-person at Mystique Lingerie.
